Mrs. Crickett Griffin brings more than three decades of experience working with students and families across a variety of educational settings, including public school, virtual school, and homeschooling. Her experience includes teaching middle and high school students as well as adults with disabilities. Throughout her career, she has developed a deep appreciation for the unique strengths, challenges, and potential each learner brings.
A graduate of Troy University, Mrs. Griffin a degree in English 6–12, along with ESOL and Reading endorsements. She also previously held certification in Elementary Education.
Her career has given her a strong understanding of the importance of supporting not only students, but also the families who walk alongside them. As a consultant with the Panhandle Area Education Consortium, she worked with students and parents, teaching practical skills for navigating the challenges and “perils” of middle school. She also served as a manager of tutors for A+ Tutor U!, overseeing tutoring services throughout Jackson County Schools.
Homeschooling has been one of the most personally meaningful parts of her educational journey. One of her homeschool students was her own son, who is on the autism spectrum. That experience gave her an especially personal perspective on individualized learning, patience, flexibility, and the importance of meeting students where they are.
Mrs. Griffin brings all of these experiences—educator, parent, homeschooler, mentor, and lifelong learner—to her work with students. Her goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel understood, encouraged, and capable of succeeding.
